Cheri Lynn McClymonds, 61, of Slippery Rock passed away Saturday at her home in Worth Township of natural causes.

She was born July 30, 1956, in Grove City, to Charles Loyal McClymonds and Norma Evelyn Renick McClymonds.

A Slippery Rock High School graduate, Cheri worked for Three Rivers Aluminum Co. (TRACO) and later the Butler Eagle. She was Protestant. She was a great lover of animals and enjoyed spending time with her dogs.

Cheri is survived by her sister, Karen Sue Barkley of Slippery Rock; her half-sister, Donna Lee Munson of Durham, N.C.; two nieces; three nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Charles W. and Joseph G. McClymonds; one nephew, Robert J. McClymonds; and a great-niece, Brittany L. Hays.

MCCLYMONDS — Family of Cheri Lynn McClymonds, who died Sept. 9, 2017, will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock.Interment will be at the Slippery Rock Cemetery.
