Beulah P. Barber
Beulah P. Barber, 100, of Mars, passed away Thursday evening at LAS St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.
Born Aug. 1, 1917, in Richland Township, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Annie (McMarlin) Purvis.
Beulah was a member of LifePointe Alliance Church (Mars Alliance) and had been a bell ringer for the Salvation Army. She was a member of Mars Women’s Club, AARP, Mars American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and Mars Senior Citizens.
Surviving are her daughter, Bonnie Chappel, of Mars; and two grandsons, Kyle (Mariana) Chappel and Christopher (Lindsey) Chappel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Barber, and nine brothers and sisters.
BARBER — Friends of Beulah P. Barber, who died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, at McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. Services will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jeff Lawther officiating. Burial will be at Mars Cemetery, Adams Township.
