John E. Schavone, 90, formerly of Whitehall, Pa., peacefully passed away Aug. 29.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 63 years, Helen Peters; and his daughter, Beth (Don) Weaver.

John was a draftsman for both Fisher Scientific and Ryan Homes. He retired early to enjoy his passion for woodworking.

John was preceded in death by his son, Mark.
