Betty Jane Landgraf, 96, of Butler, passed away Saturday at the Lowrie House.

She was born June 23, 1921, in Carbon Center, Pa., the daughter of the late Earl Albert and Ruth Leighthold Oesterling.

Betty enjoyed crocheting, oil painting, ceramics and crafts.

Surviving are her three daughters, Shirley (Bill) Eury of South Carolina, Nancy (William) Kane of Butler and Patricia Kaylor of Harrisville; two sons, Thomas (Lori) Landgraf of Verona and Randy (Rhonda) Landgraf of Eau Claire; nine grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marcus Landgraf, who died in 1984; and two brothers.

LANDGRAF — A Mass of Christian burial for Betty Jane Landgraf, who died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler, Pa., 16001, with Father Harry Bielewicz officiating.
