Kolby Rick Clouse
Kolby Rick Clouse, 18, peacefully left this world Friday surrounded by family and friends at home after a lifelong battle with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
Born Nov. 3, 1998, he is the son of Eric and Cindy Miller Clouse. Kolby graduated from Butler High School in June 2017. During his time there, he was voted the 2015 Homecoming Prince and the 2017 Prom King.
Although his time with us was too short, Kolby's presence greatly impacted everyone he encountered, and he will always be remembered for his contagious smile, calm nature, perseverance, wit and courage. Kolby's loves in life included bantering with his best friend and twin sister, Kayci; laughing around the campfire with neighbors and friends; RZRing adventures on the hillsides; Friday night visits with Ryan Rebmann and Reece Orloski; camping trips to Benezette; chatting about engines, cars and trucks; truck rides with Matt Dunn and his cousin, Gabe Clouse; being entertained by his lively cousin, Cassie Clouse; and his annual guys gone wild trip to Chris Erdos's house in Florida.
