BUTLER TWP — There will be night disc golf Saturday on a temporary course at Alameda Park, 184 Alameda Park Road. Registration will start at 8:45 p.m. at the Purple Park. After a short players meeting, tee off will be at 9:30 p.m.
The event will be open to all skill levels. Equipment will be available. There will be divisions and prizes.

[naviga:h3]Strike the Stigma registers bowlers[/naviga:h3]
The Strike the Stigma event will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 26 at the Family Bowlaway Fun Center, 540 Fairground Hill Road.
Bowling teams will include adults with and without disabilities. The evening will feature open bowling, unlimited soft drinks, light snacks, music and prizes. A cash bar will be available.

[naviga:h3]Trunk sale, fishing derby planned[/naviga:h3]
BUTLER TWP — The Butler County Parks and Recreation Department will host two events Oct. 7.
A community trunk sale will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot of the Masonic Shelter at Alameda Park, 184 Alameda Park Road.
Admission will be free for shoppers.
Advance registration is required for sellers, and space is limited.

The 20th annual Alameda Youth Fishing Derby for ages 2 to 15 will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Alameda Waterpark, 183 Alameda Park Road. Gates open at 10:45 a.m.
Take tackle, fishing pole and bait. The derby will be rain or shine.
Advance registration at the park office will be appreciated.

SUMMIT TWP — Butler Wesleyan Academy, 590 Protzman Road, will have an auction beginning at noon Oct. 7.
Auction items include one-week at a vacation condo in Bradenton, Fla., legal service to draft a last will and testament, a utility trailer, a canoe, household items, toys, Christmas items, theme baskets and more. Food and baked goods will be available. Only cash will be accepted for purchases.
