Orjean “Jeanie” Emma Koegler

Orjean “Jeanie” Emma Koegler, 81, of Cranberry Township passed away Wednesday at UPMC Passavant Hospital.

Born Oct. 25, 1935, in Winfield Township, she was the daughter of the late O.J. Nicol and Bertha Gaulke Nicol.

Jeanie was a graduate of Butler High School. She worked as a bookkeeper at Leedonworall and also at Hannahstown Mutual Insurance Co.

She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church, Cabot, where she made the bulletin for more than 50 years. Jeanie enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her husband, Dale Koegler, whom she married July 10, 1950; her children, Sherry (Frank) Hall of Summerville, S.C., Tamera (Winston) Vaughan of Walton, Ky., Brian (Deb Huselton) Koegler of Saxonburg and David (Diane) Koegler of Cranberry Township; six grandchildren, Debra, Rebecca and Joseph Hall, Nicole Vaughan, and Molly and Kelly Koegler; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald and George Nicol; and a sister, Doris Atkinson.

KOEGLER — A funeral service for Orjean “Jeanie” Emma Koegler, who died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 330 Hannahstown Road, Cabot, with the Rev. Barry Keurulainen officiating.Interment will be held at St. Luke Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to the St. Luke Lutheran School, 330 Hannahstown Road, Cabot, Pa., 16023.Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg, is assisting the family with arrangements. www.foxfuneralhomeinc.com
