NATRONA HEIGHTS — Run vs. pass?

That's what Friday's Knoch-Highlands football matchup is shaping up to be.

The Knights (1-1) have been led by running back Ivan Stapchuk, who has 280 yards on the ground, including 212 and five touchdowns in a season-opening win over Blackhawk. Knoch has attempted just 12 passes through two games.

Highlands quarterback Seth Cohen set school passing records in last week's 48-47 double-overtime loss to New Castle. He threw for 412 yards and seven touchdowns in that game.

Knoch has won six straight games over Highlands, including a 21-14 victory last year. The Rams' last win in the series was 35-18 in 2008.
