Man pleads in marijuana case
A Harrisville man, charged with growing marijuana at his home, pleaded guilty in Butler County Court on Wednesday.
Duwayne M. Craig, 59, entered a guilty plea to felony manufacture of a controlled substance before county Judge William Shaffer.
The plea agreement calls for a sentence of probation, fines and costs, and he is scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 2.
Craig was charged by the Pennsylvania State Police after a call from Craig's son took police to the house on Boyers Road.
There, according to court documents, police found nine potted marijuana plants in a greenhouse-type shed.
A full report will appear in the Butler Eagle.
