Fawn Virginia Rodgers
Fawn Virginia Rodgers, 93, of Monroe, Ohio, passed away Tuesday at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village in Monroe.
She was born May 5, 1924, to John Kinney and Grayce (Rutter) Bertwell.
She was a homemaker. She also volunteered at Middletown and Atrium Hospitals in Ohio for 25 years and was a volunteer for hospice.
Fawn was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Middletown. She will be remembered for her kindness, sense of humor and her cherry pies.
Fawn is survived by her daughters, Marty (Mike) Cole of Middletown and Amy Donley of Butler; her grandchildren, Matthew (Laura Morris) Way of Middletown, Kristin (Chris) Goforth of Middletown, Katie Cole of Denver, Colo., Lauren (Jake) Booth of Middletown, Amber (Devon Cunningham) of Butler and Abbey (Mike) Burnside of Pennsylvania; and by 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 51 years, Howard Rodgers, who died in 2001; her grandson, Michael Adam Way, who died in 2005; her brother, Roger Kinney; and her sister, Florabelle Snyder.
RODGERS — Visitation for Fawn Virginia Rodgers, who died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017, will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at Mount Pleasant Chapel, 225 Britton Lane, Monroe, Ohio.A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. at the chapel with the Rev.
