Benjamin Harrison Beale

Benjamin Harrison Beale, 95, of South Buffalo Township passed away Tuesday peacefully at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot.

Ben was born April 28, 1922, on the family farm in South Buffalo Township. He was the son of the late Myrne Marie Harrison and Richard B. Beale. Ben was the widower of Ella Mae Hughes Beale, who died last year. He was employed as a switchman for North Pittsburgh Telephone Co. in Wexford for more than 30 years and retired in 1985. He was a member of Freeport United Methodist Church.

Ben was a member of the F. & A.M. Armstrong Lodge 239 in Freeport. He enjoyed hunting, farming, gardening and spending time with his family.

Ben is survived by his three sons, Larry and Beverly Beale of Oklahoma Borough, Thomas and Phyllis Beale of Butler Township and Roger and Susan Beale of South Buffalo Township; and his daughter, Elaine and Scott Morrison of South Buffalo Township; her grandchildren, Gary (Kelly) Beale, Michelle (Matthew) Baker, Chad (Nicole) Beale, Ben Morrison and Lauren (Tod) Virden; his great-grandchildren, Cameron and Quinn Baker, Brayden and Aubrey Beale, Lacy and Margaret Postle and Bethany Fortuna. Ben is also survived by his sister, Joanne Arnold of Natrona Heights.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Olive McCrea; and his brother, Robert A. Beale.

BEALE — Family and friends of Benjamin Harrison Beale, who died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Redmond Funeral Home, 524 High St., in Freeport.Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Freeport United Methodist Church in Freeport with Pastor Dawn Lynn Check officiating.
