BRUIN — A 55-year-old borough woman was arrested for felony assault after she allegedly punched a trooper called to her home for a domestic dispute last week.

Vickie L. Warner is being held in the Butler County Prison on $25,000 bail. She is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and harassment.

Police said the defendant appeared intoxicated after they were called to her house on School Street about 5:20 p.m. Thursday.

She is accused of disobeying police orders, striking a trooper in the chest multiple times and hitting him in the right leg with an ashtray.
