William A. “Bill” Barnett

William A. “Bill” Barnett, 62, of Oklahoma City, Okla., formerly of Callery, passed away July 5 after a brief illness.

Bill was the son of Barbara Barnett and the late Norman “Lefty” Barnett.

Bill was a 1973 graduate of Seneca Valley High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for 21 years.

Bill was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all of his family members.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Penny; his children, Stephen Clalebro of New York, Kim Rose of Oklahoma City, Carrie Poirer of Maine, and Timothy and Michael of Oklahoma City; his grandchildren, Ben, Alan, Kylie, Elizabeth and Tabari; his sisters, Annette Straessley of Cranberry Township and Darlene Smith of Natrona Heights; his brother, Gary (Toni) of New Egypt, N.J.; and his sister-in-law, Karen, of Winston, Ga.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher.

BARNETT — A memorial service with military honors for William A. “Bill” Barnett, who died Wednesday, July 5, 2017, will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 6, at Crestview UP Church in Callery, with the Rev. Rosalyn Kummer officiating.Arrangements have been entrusted to the Boylan Funeral Home in Zelienople.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
