David Charles Eisler, 85, of Slippery Rock (Rock Falls Park) passed away June 15 at Grove Manor Nursing Home in Grove City.

He was born in Butler on April 10, 1932, to John Eisler and Mary McBride.

He played a significant role working with his father and family at Eisler Nursery of Prospect.

He loved doing woodworking, fishing, spending time with friends and being with his dog “Babe.”

Survivors include a son, Doug Eisler of Grove City; a daughter, Brenda Seraday of West Middlesex; stepdaughters, Billie Kerle of Slippery Rock and Kathy Davidson of New Castle; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; and a brother.
