David J. Bridge

David J. Bridge, 65, of Middlesex Township died suddenly on Monday.

Born in Washington, D.C., on Aug. 15, 1951, David was the son of William Bridge of Latrobe and the late Mary Rossi Bridge.

David was beloved husband for 39 years of Lynn Christie Bridge; loving father of Tyler (Jordan) Bridge, Natalie (Deron) Sferra and Pete (Hannah) Bridge; dear grandfather of Hailey and Claire Bridge; brother of Dorothy Brannan; and uncle of Jeremy (Katie) Brannan, Joshua Brannan, Zach (Nichole) Brannan and Shane Brannan. He is also survived by one great-nephew, Declan Brannan.

David was a wonderful Pap-Pap to Hailey and Claire, loved his family, his dogs and the Steelers.

A 1974 graduate of Penn State, he worked as a route salesman for Pepperidge Farm for 34 years and was a longtime volunteer with Butler County Humane Society and South Butler Community Meals on Wheels.

BRIDGE — Family of David J. Bridge, who died Monday, July 17, 2017, will welcome friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Schellhaas Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown, where services will be held following visitation at 8 p.m. with the Rev.
