Cynthia Jane “Steffy” Kovocovsky

Cynthia Jane “Steffy” Kovocovsky, 58, of Butler went to be with the Lord unexpectedly July 2 at her home.

Cynthia was born Sept. 3, 1958, in Butler. She was the daughter of William and Jane “Sarver” Steffy Sr.

She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. And most especially she enjoyed the company of her family.

She is survived by two daughters, Ashley (Robert) Kennedy of Butler and Michelle Frye of Kittanning; five brothers, William (Vicki) Steffy Jr. of Lower Burrell, and Donald, Ronald, Danny and Terry Steffy, all of Butler; one sister, Diane (Tim) Mckain of Butler; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was proceeded in death by her daughter, her husband, and her parents.

KOVOCOVSKY — A memorial service for Cynthia Jane “Steffy” Kovocovsky, who died Sunday, July 2, 2017, officiated by the Rev. Barbara Stoehr, pastor of First United Methodist Church in Butler, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at West Sunbury Union Cemetery in West Sunbury, Pa.If you consider donations, they can be given to Ashley Kennedy.
