Two people have been taken to Butler Memorial Hospital after a two vehicle crash in the 900 block of Evans City Road Friday morning.

Butler Township Fire Chief Toby Wehr said a silver SUV was traveling west on the road when it rear-ended an RV.

The SUV suffered severe front end damage and the driver, a female whose name was not immediately released, suffered unknown injuries and was taken to BMH by ambulance after a medical helicopter call was aborted due to weather conditions, Wehr said.

A passenger in the RV was also taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
