Slippery Rock woman sentenced for stabbing son
Nicole L. Fiddler
A Slippery Rock woman, accused of stabbing her son during an argument with another person, was sentenced to fines in Butler County Court on Thursday.
Nicole L. Fiddler, 39, was sentenced to pay $150 in fines by county Judge William Shaffer, after she previously entered guilty pleas to summary counts of harassment and disorderly conduct.
She was also ordered to continue her participation in alcohol treatment programs.
Fiddler was charged after Pennsylvania State Police said she was involved in a drunken fight with another woman, and when her son attempted to intervene, Fiddler cut his left hand and wrist with a knife, according to an affidavit of probable cause.
A full report will appear in the Butler Eagle.
