The Butler County Family YMCA is sponsoring a youth triathlon Aug. 19 at the YMCA Camp/ARMCO Park in Slippery Rock.

The event is open to youths ages 6-16. Distances for swimming, biking and running are based on age. Registration is open until the day of the event and is $20 for each participant.
