Roy C. Simpson

Roy C. Simpson, 76, of Butler passed away Friday at the Saxony Health Center.

Born Aug. 12, 1940, in Butler, he was the son of J. Raymond Simpson and Dorothy Worch Simpson.

Roy was a lifelong dairy farmer. He was inducted into the Pennsylvania Holstein Hall of Fame in March 2013. He was a supporter of the Butler County Dairy Club and enjoyed judging and showing cows. He was an expert on cows and was often called upon to answer questions and offer advice.

Surviving are his children, Mary Jane (Russ) Kroneberg of Butler, Gregory (Bonnie) Simpson of Butler, Sally Simpson of Ford City and Justin (Desiree) Simpson of Butler; the mother of his children, Mary Simpson of Butler; two sisters, Jean (Bob) Beyke of Felicity, Ohio, and Ruth (Don) Barton of Butler; and 10 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, John Simpson

SIMPSON — Friends of Roy C. Simpson, who died Friday, July 7, 2017, will be received from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg.Services will follow at 5 p.m. with the Rev. Tom Jones officiating.
