Desiree N. Koch

Desiree N. Koch, 26, of Butler, died Friday.

She was a daughter of Harry D. Koch and Tina Boscia.

Desiree liked to spend time with her son, liked to read, enjoyed running and had loved pets and music.

Surviving are her son Charles E. Mackalica; her father and stepmother, Harry (Wendy Gourley) Koch of Butler; her mother and stepfather, Tina Boscia (Bruce Bryner) of Prospect; her stepmother, Melissa Vogel of Butler; her companion, C.J. Mackalica of Butler; her grandparents, Annabel Koch of Glenshaw, Richard and Carol Boscia of Etna and Paul and Judy Vogel of Valencia; three brothers, Kenneth Flohr, Bruce Bryner and Harrison Koch, all of Butler; six sisters, Melina Bryner, Sarah Koch, Annabel Koch, Rhyleigh Koch, Brynn Gourley and Dylan Gourley, all of Butler; her aunts, Allison Berkstrom of Colorado and Heather Weber of Glenshaw; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, the Rev. Robert H. Koch.
