POTTSVILLE — A Pennsylvania mine worker has been killed after he was run over by his own bulldozer.
The Schuylkill County coroner says 28-year-old Andrew Oxenrider died Tuesday morning at the Reading Anthracite property in Cass Township.
Township police say Oxenrider either fell or got pulled out of the cab of his bulldozer or otherwise exited it and fell under its tracks about 9:40 a.m. The machine then ran down an embankment on its own before an obstruction stopped it.
Reading Anthracite officials were cooperating in the Mine Safety and Health Administration investigation into the death.

NORRISTOWN — Prosecutors say a Pennsylvania man has been charged after a woman overdosed inside her hospital room.
Police say a nurse found 30-year-old Ciara Hadrick unresponsive around 2:30 a.m. May 6 in the bathroom of her room at Einstein Medical Center in East Norriton. Hadrick was pronounced dead shortly afterward.
Police say they found drug paraphernalia around her body, and her autopsy indicates she died from an accidental overdose of fentanyl.
Police say Hadrick arranged the drug delivery through text message, and video surveillance captured the man leaving her hospital room hours before her death.
The 29-year-old man has been charged with drug delivery resulting in death.
