Darlene Gulick

Darlene Gulick, 79, of Saxonburg passed away on Monday at the LifeCare Hospital, Natrona Heights.

Born Oct. 31, 1937, in New Kensington, she was the daughter of the late Julius and Mary Louisa Lavery Hegedus.

Darlene was a 1955 graduate of Ken High. She worked as a bookkeeper for the family business. She was a member of the Christian Mothers.

Darlene was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, where she was a volunteer with the money counters and fall festival.

Darlene enjoyed day trips with her friends, bowling, watching the Steelers play and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her loving husband, Edward J. Gulick Sr., whom she married Feb. 27, 1965; daughters, Mary Ann Grzywinski of Saxonburg and Paula E. (Jason) LeDoux of Collinsville, Ill.; son, Edward J. Gulick Jr. of Saxonburg; grandson, Raymond (Nicholas) Grzywinski Jr. of Saxonburg; and granddaughter, Kaitlyn (Dane) Selfridge of Fort Campbell, Ky.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant son, John Gulick; her sister-in-law, Marlene Gulick; her sister, Bertha Popella; and her son-in-law, Raymond Grzywinski Sr.

GULICK — Friends of Darlene Gulick, who died Monday, June 19, 2017, will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 315 Stoney Hollow Road, Cabot, with Father Mark Pattock officiating.Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 315 Stoney Hollow Road, Cabot, PA 16023 or your favorite charity in Darlene's name.
