Melissa Nicole Barto

Melissa Nicole Barto, 26, of Butler, passed away on Monday.

She was born May 3, 1991, in Fort Knox, Ky., to Daniel and Lisa Tincha Barto.

Missy was a store manager for Miller’s Meats in Butler. She was a 2009 graduate of Butler High School.

Missy was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and enjoyed concerts, drawing and hanging out with her friends. She especially loved and enjoyed spending time with Lexee.

She is survived by her daughter, Lexee Barto at home; her parents Daniel and Lisa Barto; her brother, Ryan Barto, and his wife, Jen, of Butler; her paternal grandmother, Martha Wagner Barto of Butler; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and Scott Martin, the father of Lexee and the love of Missy’s life.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, George and Colleen Tincha, and her paternal grandfather, Gale Richard Barto Sr.

BARTO — There will be no public visitation for Melissa Nicole Barto, who died Monday, June 12, 2017.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church, Crossfire Campus, 1802 N. Main St. Ext., Butler, with the Rev. Eric Park, of First United Methodist Church, officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Victims Outreach Intervention Center, 111 S. Cliff St., Butler, PA 16001.

Arrangements are being handled by the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.
