Carol Jean Cunningham Dunmire, 63, of Blairsville passed away on Saturday at the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, Pa.

She was born April 6, 1954, in Ellwood City, the daughter of Vincent and Deloris Allman Cunningham.

Carol graduated from Seneca Valley High School in 1972 and worked as a clerk.

She was a member of the CrossRoads Community Church, Blairsville. She attended Senior Life, Indiana, three days a week.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, writing poems, arts and crafts.

Surviving are her mother, Deloris Cunningham of Fombell; a son, Brian Dunmire of Blairsville; a daughter, Michelle (Joe) Blystone of Blairsville; four grandchildren, Kelsey Shank, Brandi Hebenthal, Brian Dunmire Jr. and Travis Dunmire; one great-grandchild, Sebastian Shank; a brother, Terry Cunningham of Fombell; and fiancé, Gary Krannacker of Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her father; her husband, James D. Dunmire Jr. on Sept. 20, 2010; and a brother, Vincent Cunningham.

DUNMIRE — As per the wishes of Carol Jean Cunningham Dunmire, who died Saturday, June 10, 2017, there will be no visitation.
