Kathleen M. Hoffman Dougherty
Kathleen M. Hoffman Dougherty, 92, died Wednesday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born Sept. 24, 1924, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Ott Litzenberg and Mary Weiland Litzenberg.
Kathleen was a homemaker and a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler. She enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening.
Surviving are her children, Sandra (Keith) LaComb of Pinehurst, N.C.; Deborah (Fred M.) Vero of Butler; Gary (Laurie) Hoffman of Fort Myers, Fla.; and Kathleen (William) Kawulich of Port Matilda, Pa. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, Jennifer LaComb-Thompson of Fayetteville, N.C., Krista (Ron) Andrews of Mansfield, Pa., Erica (Greg) Sipos of Delmont, Pa., Matthew (Angela) LaComb of Pataskala, Ohio, Kevin (Tifinie) LaComb of Canfield, Ohio, Alyssa (Jon) Zalar of Greer, S.C., Kimberly Vero-Lynn of Harrisville, Erin (Gerg) Cioffi of Evans City, Michael (Jodie) Vero of Manitowoc, Wisc., and Jason, Keira and Nicklas Kawulich, all of Port Matilda, Pa.; 11 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Sr. Georgia Litzenberg of Greensburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd C. Hoffman, whom she married June 27, 1944, and who died June 8, 1975; and her three brothers, Arthur, Weiley and Eric Litzenberg.
DOUGHERTY — Friends of Kathleen M. Hoffman Dougherty, who died Wednesday, June 14, 2017, will be received 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.
