Gunmen open fire at baby gender party

CINCINNATI — Two gunmen opened fire at a gender reveal party near Cincinnati, killing one woman and injuring eight others including the pregnant woman whose party it was, according to police.

Colerain Township Police Chief Mark Denney said friends and family gathered for a party Saturday night to learn the gender of the pregnant woman’s unborn child when the gunmen opened fire with handguns in the living room.

Denney said 22-year-old Autum Garrett, of Huntington, Ind., was killed, and eight other people including the pregnant woman and three young children injured. Denney said the two gunmen who fled on foot have not been identified or arrested.

There were no indications of a forced entry by the gunmen.
