Ellis “Slick” Clark Jr.
Ellis “Slick” Clark Jr., 87, of Butler, passed away Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 24, 1929, in Cadogan, Pa., the son of the late Ellis Clark and Frances (Quinn) Sumney.
Ellis was a life member of Oneida Valley Fire Department. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He retired from Pullman Standard after 25 years of service.
Surviving are his wife, Joan (Clawges) Clark of Butler; two daughters, Robin (Ron) Scarpitti of Newport, N.C. and Lila (Duane) Gizienski of West Sunbury; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a half-sister, Betty Bollinger.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Kathryn L. Kidd; and a grandson, James Russell Clark.
