American Red Cross teams are once again out in Butler and Lyndora, which were both hard hit by Wednesday night's flash floods. The Red Cross, from its local operations base at the Butler City Fire Department on Washington Street, has distributed more than 100 clean-up kits and some meals.

The Red Cross did close its shelter at Faith English Lutheran Church after it went unused Thursday night.
