Louis P. Rome

Louis P. Rome, 94, of Cabot passed away Wednesday at the Saxony Health Center in Saxonburg.

Born June 29, 1922, in Braddock, Pa., he was a son of the late Louis and Mary Mudic Rome.

He retired from the Moonlight Mushroom Mine in Worthington, Pa., following 39 years service. He was in the management department.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 828 in Worthington.

He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Surviving are his wife, Elsie Kitko Rome, whom he married Feb. 15, 1958; his brother, William Rome of Herman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Frank Rome.

ROME — There will be no public visitation for Louis P. Rome, who died Wednesday, May 31, 2017.

Arrangements are being handled by the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.
