Mary B. Scott

Mary B. Scott, 69, of Butler passed away Wednesday at UPMC Shadyside.

Born Dec. 20, 1947, in Brockport, N.Y., she was the daughter of Robert Brew and Margaret Acomb Brew.

Mary worked as a staff accountant and was a much beloved co-worker at the places she worked. Her passion and original vocation, shared with her husband, was farming.

She was a member of Jefferson Center Presbyterian Church and the American Shorthorn Association. She enjoyed spending time with family, being with her dogs and gardening.

Surviving is her son, the Rev. Lee Robert Scott of Pittsburgh.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert P. Scott who passed away Oct. 21, 2011; and three brothers, Robert Brew, James Brew and Archie Brew.

SCOTT — Friends of Mary B. Scott, who died Wednesday, May 31, 2017, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Jefferson Center Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Janet Hufford and the Rev. B.J. Woodworth officiating.Interment will follow in Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to Garfield Community Farm, 801 N.
