Mildred Josephine Davies, 93, of Cabot passed away Tuesday at Good Samaritan Hospice.

She was born Aug. 31, 1923, in West Winfield, Pa.

She was the daughter of the late Matthew Puz and Cecelia Stanic Puz.

She was a homemaker and also worked at Winfield Mushroom Mine. Mildred was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church in Cabot.

Surviving Mildred are her daughter, Cynthia Davies; her son, Daniel R. Davies; her granddaughter, Kailey Hazlett; her grandson, Devin Hazlett; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James R. Davies; her son, David Davies; and numerous brothers and sisters.

DAVIES — Friends of Mildred Josephine Davies, who died Tuesday, May 30, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph R.C. Church. Everyone please meet at the church.Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Herman.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Good Samaritan Hospice or to a charity of one's choice.
