Jean R. Hagen
Jean R. Hagen, 88, of Mars was called home to be with the Lord Sunday morning at Concordia of Cabot.
Jean was born in Gibsonia on Feb. 28, 1929. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Hazel Bonin Dillner.
Jean graduated from West Deer High School in 1948.
She was a loving housewife, amazing mother and loving grandmother. Her No. 1 joy was spending time with her family. Some of her hobbies were baking, quilting and gardening.
The Hagens were members of the North Main Street Church of God.
Surviving Jean are her husband of 65 years Albert C. Hagen Jr., who she married on June 9, 1951; her daughters, Beverly Ann (Sherman) Tester of Conneautville, Maxine Hagen of Butler; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister Frances Hardt; two brothers, Norman and Clarence Dillner; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by daughter Sandra Leigh Smith; granddaughter Nichole Vaughn; and her sister, Ethel LeFever.
HAGEN — Friends of Jean R. Hagen who died Sunday, May 28, 2017, are invited to a memorial service at 4 p.m. Sunday at the North Main Street Church of God, 1201 N. Main St. Ext., Butler. A reception dinner will follow.
