David C. Kifer
David C. Kifer, 69, of East Palestine, Ohio, passed away May 21 at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center in Ohio.
He was born Sept. 6, 1947, in Butler to the late Raymond C. Kifer and the late Lillie Jane Hindman Kifer.
David served as a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era.
He attended Carnegie Mellon and was a graduate of Butler County Community College. David worked as a GPS mapping specialist at Baker Engineering for 39 years before retiring in 2013. He was a member of the NRA, loved reading and was a member of various book clubs.
He is survived by his brother, Thomas I. Kifer of Butler; his sister, Esther (Barry) Street of Jupiter, Fla.; his niece, Rachel Street of Mars; and two nephews, Benjamin Street and Jonathan Street.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond C. Kifer, and mother, Lillie Jane Hindman Kifer.
KIFER — Friends of David C. Kifer who died Saturday, May 21, 2017, will be received 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E.
