Harry A. Troup

Harry A. Troup, 75, of Karns City passed away Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born Jan. 17, 1942, in Ford City, the son of Roy A. and Edith Viola (Goldinger) Troup.

Harry lived in Pennsylvania when he was younger, but lived in New Jersey for many years due to his work as a maintenance mechanic at Nitta Casing. He was well-known for loving mechanical work and always maintaining his property. Harry enjoyed camping and fishing.

His memory will be cherished by his son, William J. Troup of Karns City; daughter, Gretchen L. Rivera, and her husband, Rafael, of Flemington, N.J.; grandson, Hunter Troup of S.C.; sister, Eleanor Adams of Ford City; and a special friend, Delores Speer of Lower Burrell.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Jane L. Troup; and a brother, Paul Troup.

TROUP — Relatives and friends of Harry A. Troup, who died Thursday, May 25, 2017, will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of blessing service at noon on Saturday at the Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 102 S. Argyle St., Petrolia, with the Rev.
