Janice Ann Cornelius

Janice Ann Cornelius, 75, of Trinity Living Center, Grove City, and formerly of Slippery Rock Township passed away at Grove City Medical Center on Tuesday.

Janice was born in Slippery Rock Township on Nov. 16, 1941, to Franklin Cornelius and Ruth Belle Moyer Cornelius.

She was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church, now called Friendship Presbyterian Church in Slippery Rock. Janice enjoyed baking cookies and pizzellas for the Christmas season, crocheting, and visiting with family and friends.

She is survived by her brother, Frank Cornelius of Butler; a niece Laurie Cornelius-Filer and husband Wayne of Harrisville; nephew Dan Cornelius of Harrisville; and several other nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Donald and Richard; and a sister Vivian Gasper.

CORNELIUS — Family of Janice Ann Cornelius who died Tuesday, May 23, 2017, will receive friends at 1 p.m. until time of the service at 3 p.m. Friday at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock. Interment will follow in Prairie Cemetery, Harrisville.
