Earl F. Vogel

Earl F. Vogel Jr., 55, of Ellwood City passed away Saturday at his home.

Born Oct. 24, 1961, in Butler, he was the son of Richard Hilliard and Margaret Hickey Hilliard.

Earl was a member of the Bricklayers and Allied Craft Workers Union Local 9 in Pittsburgh and had worked for Etzel Masonry. He enjoyed hunting, riding quads, camping and spending time with friends and family.

Surviving are his children, Chad Vogel of Warren, Ohio, Shea Vogel of Butler, Brandyn Vogel of Ellwood City and Peyton Vogel of Ellwood City; his companion, Jaime Montgomery and her mother, Rose Walters, of Ellwood City; his stepdaughter, Kylie Montgomery of Ellwood City; two brothers, Paul (Donna) Vogel of Zelienople and John Vogel of Saxonburg; two sisters, Jean (John) White of Butler and Becky (John) Howell of Oscala, Fla.; his grandson, Jesse Johns; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

VOGEL — Friends of Earl F. Vogel Jr., who died Saturday, May 20, 2017, will be received from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Funeral services will follow at 7:30 p.m. with the Rev. John Porter officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
