Jeanette Walsh Edwards

Jeanette Walsh Edwards, 78, of Westminster, Md., entered eternal peace on Wednesday.

Born Nov. 29, 1938, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Mabel Young Walsh and Walter J. Walsh. She was the wife of Willie M. Edwards.

Before she was married, she worked at Butler Memorial Hospital. She also worked with her husband for Blind Industries & Services of Maryland, with her husband in the snack bar in the Carroll County Office Building, Carroll Temp Services and McDaniel Conference Center.

She was a life member of Women of the Moose No. 897. She enjoyed reading, bingo and playing computer games.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Belinda M. Edwards Nagle and her husband, Kevin; granddaughters Lindsey A. Rivera and husband, Arturo, and Rebecca E. Nagle; a great-granddaughter Gianna Rivera; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol and Don Osgood and Eileen and Tom Scott; sisters-in-law Rose Marie Walsh and Linda Edwards; brothers-in-law Norman Burton and Dennis Uram; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sisters Kathleen Wilbert and Elaine Uram; a brother, Thomas Walsh; and sister-in-law, Mary Ann Burton.

EDWARDS — Mass of Christian burial for Jeanette Walsh Edwards, who died Wednesday, May 17, 2017, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St., Westminster, Md.

Friends may call at the church from 12:30 to 1 p.m. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg, Md.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St., Westminster, MD 21157 to benefit the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
