United Way executive director resigns
The executive director of the United Way of Butler County announced her resignation Thursday.
Kierston Hobaugh intends to leave her post later this year, and the organization is currently accepting applications for the position.
“This decision was made after long and careful consideration of both Ms. Hobaugh's professional goals and the continued growth and community involvement of United Way of Butler County ...,” the release stated.
Hobaugh's main concern is to make this transition run smoothly, and she intends to make herself available to the organization for as long as is necessary and in whatever capacity the board of directors deems best, according to the news release.
A full report will appear in Friday's Butler Eagle.
