Nathan Sosigian singled, doubled and drove in four runs in West Sunbury’s 9-8 victory against visiting Meridian in Butler County legion baseball action Monday.

Jake Jewart and Nick Sosigian both contributed to the win with three singles and Brice Williams added two hits.

Nick Sosigian overcame a rough start on the mound for West Sunbury (5-2), allowing six combined runs in the first two innings. He then surrendered just one run over the next three frames and earned the win after five innings pitched.

Jace Stutz singled three times for Meridian, Nick Grosch had two base hits and Sam Gross and Phil Vandergrift both doubled.
