MIDDLESEX TWP — A rollover along Route 8 this morning caused the northbound lanes to be closed while the accident was cleared. The driver, whose name was not available, was not seriously injured after his car crossed from the southbound lanes into a northbound hillside and flipped, according to authorities. He was taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital. The accident was reported in a 6:13 a.m. 911 call.

Northbound traffic was diverted into the middle turning lane. State police are investigating the cause.
