MaryAnn Wagner, 58, of Butler passed away Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born Nov. 1, 1958, in Butler, the daughter of the late John Carl and Virginia Ruth Patterson Bortmas.

She had been employed by the VA Butler Healthcare medical center in the library. She was a member of Unionville Presbyterian Church. She also was an adviser for the Butler Assembly 25 and New Castle Assembly 1 of the International Order of Rainbow for Girls and for the Lorraine Chapter of the International Order of DeMolay. She belonged to the Unionville and Butler County Pomona Grange, the Eastern Star and the White Shrine. She enjoyed crafting and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her sister, Helen M. Voegler of Butler; three sons, Carl J. Wagner of Butler, Howard J. (Becky) Wagner of Vista, Calif., and Michael D. (Ashley Donaldson) Wagner of Saxonburg; three grandchildren, Kaden, Kenzie and Charlotte; and her niece, Linda (Evan) Granite and her children, Ana and Marissa, of Wexford.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George J. Wagner Jr.; and her brother-in-law, William “Bill” Voegler.

WAGNER — Friends of MaryAnn Wagner, who died Wednesday, May 3, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev.
