Carl Edward Kurtz, 42, of Butler passed away Tuesday.

He was born Oct. 18, 1974, in Portsmith, Va., the son of James D. and Donna Saeler Kurtz, both of Butler.

Carl was a graduate of Butler Senior High School. He enjoyed his pets, hunting, fishing, hockey and especially spending time with his two daughters.

Along with his parents, he is survived by his two daughters, Arianna and Jocelyn Kurtz of Las Vegas, Nev.; his brother, David (Keisha) Kurtz of Butler; and two sisters, Karen Kurtz of Butler and Evonne (John) Kopetchny of Harrisburg.
