Among the 565 graduates for Seneca Valley High School tonight is Alexys Smith, accompanied by her guide dog, Cruise.

The 6-year-old labernese has guided Smith through the school's halls and classrooms since freshman year.

"It's so cool he gets to walk with me on stage," said Smith, who was stricken with blindness at birth.

Cruise will walk on the stage with Smith tonight with his own custom-made cap.

He was given to Smith four years ago by the Canada-based MIRA Foundation.
