Butler City council member Kathy Kline was found not guilty of a summary offense of running over a fire hose.
A Butler City Council member was found not guilty Thursday of running over a fire hose, a summary offense.
Councilwoman Kathy Kline, 63, of Wayne Street had been cited for an incident during a fire on Center Avenue. She represented herself in the case.
“I'm pleased,” Kline said of the ruling.
Judge Lewis Stoughton presided over the case.
“I think Judge Stoughton understands that it was truly an embarrassing accident and basically just saw it for what it was,” she said.
