The Butler City Farmer's Market will open on Saturday, May 27 at its location at 205 S. Chestnut St. The market will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Opening day will consist of goodies and live music, and a host of vendors, the group announced on its Facebook page. There will also be balloons for the kids and more.

Scheduled to return to the market are Five Element Farm, The Farmers' Wives, Schramm's, Grimm Farm, Grandma Betty baked goods, the Butler Lions' Club with bags and brooms, Morton's Fruits and Herbals, McGlaughlin Distillery, and Cummings' Coffee.
