Dennis William King, 67, of Butler, formerly of Ford City, died Sunday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.

Born April 6, 1950, in Kittanning, he was a son of the late William H. and Mildred Shearer King.

Dennis retired from the Butler Veterans Administration, where he was an administrator. He enjoyed traveling, walking and being outdoors.

He is survived by his daughter, Kristi (Kevin) Powell of Butler; his son, Matthew King of Cranberry Township; his sister, Kathy (Ramon Jaramillo) King of New Hampshire; and his niece, Kara Eliza Jaramillo.
