Kathryn “Katy” Davidson
Kathryn “Katy” Davidson, 99, of Mars died Monday evening at LAS St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.
Born Feb. 1, 1918, in Callery, she was the daughter of the late George and Eva Stirk.
She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Mars and the Mars Rod and Gun Club.
Katy loved Country and Western dancing, often dancing three nights a week. She enjoyed fishing and went to Lake Nipissing in Canada since her honeymoon.
Surviving are her daughter, Sandra (Butch Michaels) Shoup of Mars; two sons, Gene (Chris) Davidson of Toledo, Ohio, and Denny Davidson of Bethel Park; one grandson, Jason (Holly) Davidson of Denver, Colo.; one great-granddaughter, Lucy Davidson; and three stepgrandchildren, Jackie, Sherry and Nikki.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Davidson, who she married Aug. 30, 1941, and who died July 22, 2005; two brothers; and four sisters.
DAVIDSON — Friends of Kathryn “Katy” Davidson, who died Monday, April 17, 2017, will be received from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
