Lucille M. Burford

Lucille M. Burford, 94, of Cabot passed away Thursday at the Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Born May 11, 1922, in Tarentum, she was the daughter of Richard Farrell and Helen Faulkner Farrell.

Luci had worked for the Southwest Bank in Tarentum and Natrona Heights for 44 years and also for Rae-Ann Realty–Century 21 in Natrona Heights. She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church, where she was the church organist and choir member for many years. She was a member of the Town & Country Decorative Painters and the Golden Triangle Decorative Paints. She had owned Luci's Loft, where she taught decorative tole painting.

Surviving are two sons, William J. (Adel) Kropp Jr. of Albany, N.Y., and Richard (Lori) Kropp of Clarion; her daughter, Bonnie (Ken) Niemann of Avon, Ind.; her sister, Helen (Tom) Myers of Ohiopyle, Pa.; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Merle Burford; and one sister, Alyce Massart.

BURFORD — Friends of Lucille M. Burford, who died Thursday, April 13, 2017, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg.Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Wilson officiating.
