Shirley “Stella” McManus Hamerski, 68, of Harmony passed away Thursday in her home, surrounded by her family.
Shirley was the sunshine of our lives and lived her life to the fullest. Her wit and sense of humor brightened the lives of everyone around her. She faced great challenges in her battle with cancer, but she persevered and remained positive until the end.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Irene Stiver.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, Wally Hamerski; her daughters, Cheryl, Rebecca, Maribeth Joy and Katie McManus, Renéa (Fidel) Valea, Sandi (Bill) Trunick and Rainna (Ray) Bernesser; her 10 grandchildren; and her four-legged companion, Nico.
